Smiles for Success volunteers provide a boost to women needing dental treatment as they move from public assistance to work. Such treatment is usually unavailable to them through other sources, such as government programs or insurance. Volunteer dentists around the country participate by helping to restore oral health and a confident smile. Dentist's services are donated. Volunteers who are members of the AAWD will be reimbursed up to $1,500 in lab fees per patient. Non-members will be reimbursed up to $1,000 per patient.
